An authentic recipe from San Sebastian in Northern Spain, this cheesecake has a distinctive deep-caramelised exterior and smooth creamy interior infused with vanilla bean.  Traditionally enjoyed as a snack (‘pintxo’) with a glass of sherry or an espresso, it is also suitable as a decadent dessert after a meal. 

 

Sold per slice.  Each slice makes a generous portion for one person or could be shared between two.

Ingredients (allergens: in bold): Full Fat Soft Cheese (Cows' Milk);  Free Range Eggs;  Northern Irish Whipping Cream (Cows' Milk) (100%);   Fortified British Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin);  Fairtrade Cane Sugar;  Nielsen-Massey Vanilla Bean Paste (Sugar, Water, Vanilla Extract, Vanilla Pods, Gum Tragacanth (a Natural Thickener)); Sea salt.
